Mr. Whitaker explained the value of quality content that appeals to the specific client base of the business, as well as the importance of timing the distribution of that content. "According to statistics, blogs posted at 3 p.m. EST receive the most social shares, while those published at 10 a.m. EST face the most competition. In fact, experts suggest that most people are online between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. EST," said Mr. Whitaker. "When it comes to which day of the week is best to post your business blog, Sunday is the least competitive day. Therefore, the chance readers will share your blog increases. However, most people agree that Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are the best days to post."
